Here at, theJapanese Martial Arts Centre the aim of our policies is to promote good practice, providing children and young people with appropriate safety/ protection whilst in the care of our karate club and to follow staff and volunteers make informed and confident response to specific child protection issues.
Rules of the Dojo

No shoes in Dojo

Bow on entering and leaving the Dojo

Instructors are called Sensei at all times

No smoking, eating or chewing gum in the Dojo

No students may take part in any form of drug taking on pain of expulsion

One ,just show respect to Sensei’[s and students

No jewellery to be worn in Dojo

All fingers nails and toe nails to be kept short and clean

No bad language to be used in class

All valuables kept out of dressing rooms

Students must always wear clean uniforms

A student must always inform Sensei if they are to be absent for more than 2 weeks

Everyone who participates in the Japanese Martial Arts Centre is entitled to do so in an enjoyable and safe environment.
